2024 Recap

Happy New Year!

Glad you are still here with me.

I want to express my graditude for everyone who has been praying for me over the last year in any capacity. The Lord used the tradegy of 2023 to change my life, and that has cascaded into such a deep intimate walk with Jesus. The Lord has provided and healed in so many different ways, and while things may not have been completely restored I can genuinely say that God is GOOD.

I entered 2024 broken and broke. The Lord brought me to a desolate place so that all I could see was him. I can genuinely say that there were no more distractactions. (Pro tip: don’t be as stubborn or stupid as me and wait until you wreck yourself before developing an intimate relationship with Jesus). Now reflecting on my experience and scripture I realize that pretty much everytime Jesus left the crowds to fellowship with the Father he went to a desolate place. The Father wants the same fellowship with us, which is the entire purpose in which he sent his son to die for us. Through Jesus we get fellowship with one another and God, which is something that I think most of us miss because we are too busy chasing the things of this world.

That’s my story…..but God.

As 2024 transpired the Lord took me into deeper fellowship with him. I remember this one moment in late February when I was serving at my church on safety team where I realized that if the Lord was to only ever call me to being a janitor at my church for the rest of my life, that I would be okay with that. If you know me, you probably know how unfitting that is because I have always viewed myself as a high achiever. In that moment it felt like the Lord was like “FINALLY!!!” because it was a real moment of humility for me. This was the beginning of me getting to experience that which the Lord has in store for me.

Queue April 2024. The Lord spent a lot of time equipping me before giving me any responsibility again, which I think is an important point because many of us ask the Lord for great assignments without meeting the practical requirements that are required for such tasks. When April came around I was finally in a place emotionally, spritually, and physically to work in my best capacity. This is when I partnered with a payments company and brokered my first big deal in a year which ultimately fell through but led to the founding of Prahsys Inc.

The real blessing in that deal was it falling through because the conversations that transpired afterward. God tends to work unexpected ways.

Looking forward into 2025 I am praying for the Lord to heal or close a very important relationship – this is a way you can partner with me through the first quarter of this year. Please pray for wisdom and discernment for me, that the Lord will provide a new spiritual mentor for me, and that Lord will bring who he wants to join the year long discipleship I will be leading.

I believe this year is going to be marked with some great successes and I am excited to see what is in store. Thankful to have each of you join me on this journey!
